What is Touchless Check-In?
Touchless Check-In is Capital Area Pediatrics’ new patient intake process: allowing pre-visit electronic appointment confirmation, registration and check-in from the privacy and comfort of your own home using any tablet, smart phone, or personal computer. Also, you will now be able to alert us upon your arrival from your smart phone device so that you can wait comfortably and safely in your vehicle.
Why is Capital Area Pediatrics launching Touchless Check-In Now?
Capital Area Pediatrics cares for our patients as if they were our own and we value your time. We want to provide you with the best possible care experience and to save you time when arriving at our practice and to ensure that your health records will always be up-to-date. Also, given these extraordinary times, we want you and your family to feel safe and waiting in the comfort of your car provides optimal safety for you, yours, and our staff. For all well visits, you will receive a text with a pre-visit COVID screen. We ask that you complete this at least 24 hours in advance of your visit. If we have any questions about your answers, we will contact you prior to your visit. If your child or family is considered at risk of being contagious, we may ask to reschedule your well visit for the safety of others in the office. If your condition changes from the time you complete the screen and your actual visit, please notify our office.

The information you enter in our Touchless Check-In system is private and secure and will allow our team to better care for you. Phreesia provides industry-leading privacy and security for our patients’ data. They are held to the same standards as Capital Area Pediatrics related to protecting your family’s information. Do we need to use the new system for every appointment?
Yes. But once you have completed the initial registration, the next time will be much quicker because your information is stored for your convenience.
Do I need to download an app to do mobile check-in?
No. There is no app - you simply click the link provided in the text message or email. This allows you to securely answer any registration and medical questions necessary for your appointment.
Can I complete the forms in a language other than English?
Yes! Mobile registration is available in 20 different languages!
