Shasta holds a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from George Mason University. She enjoys helping her clients discover their inner resilience, gain self-awareness, and manage their emotions and behaviors in ways that support their goals.
Shasta supports clients in addressing anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relational issues, and adjustment to life transitions. She strives to create an authentic relationship with her clients using evidence-based treatment, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She joined CAP in January 2025 and is working under supervision for her clinical licensure.
Shasta lives in Reston with her husband and young son. She enjoys spending time outdoors, flower gardening, NFL football, and coffee of all kinds.
