Lauren Dickinson, MSW, LCSW

Lauren Dickinson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 with a master's degree in Social Work. Lauren joined CAP in January 2023 and is excited to serve the Loudoun community where she also lives.  

Lauren has worked with youth of all ages and presenting problems. Prior to working at CAP, Lauren worked with youth and families in both medical and psychiatric hospitals. She practices evidence-based treatment, primarily using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).  Lauren works with a wide range of common presenting problems, including depression, anxiety, body image, low self-esteem, family and relational problems, identity issues, organization problems, sensory issues, substance use, self-harming behaviors, and challenges with life transitions.

Lauren lives in Ashburn with her husband and two young boys.  In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, listening to audiobooks, and crafting.
