Kim Hawkins, IBCLC

Kim Hawkins is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who joined Capital Area Pediatrics in April 2019.

Kim and her husband moved to Washington D.C. in March of 2007 from Michigan. She began her career working for a corporate fitness company managing government gyms. After the birth of her second child in November 2013 she switched careers becoming a labor and postpartum doula. She is passionate about working with families of newborns as she knows how overwhelming of a time it can be and having non-judgmental support can make all the difference!

She has three kids and moved to Falls Church in August 2019. She has been bringing her kids to CAP since 2012 and loves the doctors and staff so much she started working here!
